Why AurorIQ displays advertising
AurorIQ is free to use. Display advertising can help pay for hosting, maintenance, accessibility work, research review, and continued development without charging users to take the public tools. Advertising is supplemental to the site: the assessment, explanatory content, and navigation remain the primary reason each page exists.
Advertising provider
We use Google AdSense, publisher ID ca-pub-2335913078491957, to serve display advertising when advertising is enabled. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, local storage, IP addresses, device information, and other identifiers as described in our Privacy Policy. You can also read how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Where ads may appear
We intentionally reserve ad positions only in content-rich areas, such as between explanatory sections on methodology or tool landing pages. We do not intentionally place display ads inside answer choices, next/previous controls, timed reaction areas, navigation menus, result action buttons, download/share controls, or other high-interaction UI where an ad could be mistaken for part of the assessment.
Reserved ad containers are labeled Advertisement. Their layout space is defined separately from nearby buttons and links to reduce accidental clicks and unexpected layout movement.
Advertising does not affect results
Advertisers do not choose test questions, scoring weights, result bands, cognitive archetypes, article conclusions, or methodological claims. An ad being shown next to a topic does not mean AurorIQ recommends, validates, or endorses the advertiser or its product.
Ad volume and page quality
Our placement policy is conservative: publisher-created content must remain the focal point, and we avoid serving ads on thin, error, dead-end, or purely behavioral screens. We also avoid layouts where paid promotional material could outweigh the substantive content on the page.
Sponsored and affiliate content
At the time of this policy update, AurorIQ does not label ordinary Google display ads as editorial recommendations. If we later publish a sponsored article, paid placement, affiliate link, or other commercial relationship that could influence compensation, that relationship will be disclosed clearly and close to the relevant content. Sponsored material will not be presented as independent psychometric evidence.
Cookies, consent, and personalization
Advertising technologies may use cookies or similar storage. Our site provides consent controls for non-essential analytics and advertising technologies. Visitors can review the categories of data involved and their available choices in the Privacy Policy and reopen cookie choices using the footer control.
For regions where Google requires a certified consent management platform for personalized advertising, the publisher must configure an eligible Google-certified CMP in addition to the site-level consent UI. This page describes our intended data and advertising practices; it is not legal advice and does not replace the configuration required in the advertising account.
Questions or concerns
If an advertisement appears misleadingly close to a control, obscures content, creates a layout problem, or otherwise makes the site harder to use, please report the page and device details through our Contact page or email contact@auroriq.com.
