What AurorIQ is
AurorIQ provides a free, adaptive cognitive self-assessment for educational and entertainment purposes. It is explicitly not a clinical, diagnostic, educational, or legal instrument. Full detail on what the test does and doesn't measure is available on our methodology page.
No professional advice
Nothing on AurorIQ constitutes medical, psychological, educational, or legal advice. Your result should not be used as the basis for clinical decisions, educational accommodations, employment decisions, or any legal proceeding. If you have concerns about cognitive function, please consult a licensed professional.
Acceptable use
You agree not to attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer for malicious purposes, or abuse the service, including automated scripted use intended to manipulate scoring or results at scale.
Intellectual property
The AurorIQ name, branding, test content, and underlying scoring methodology are the property of AurorIQ. You may share your own individual result and generated share cards for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Disclaimer of warranties
AurorIQ is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AurorIQ and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site or reliance on a result.
Advertising
AurorIQ is supported by display advertising served through third-party networks. We do not control the specific content of individual ads.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
AurorIQ is free to use and is supported by advertising served through Google AdSense, subject to your consent choices under our Privacy Policy. Advertisements are clearly distinguishable from site content, and we do not accept payment to alter assessment results, scores, or editorial content. Third-party ad providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies, which we encourage you to review. We also use Google Analytics, loaded only after consent, to understand aggregate usage of the site.
Acceptable use
You agree to use AurorIQ only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not attempt to scrape, bulk-download, or programmatically extract assessment items; probe, disrupt, or overload the service; misrepresent AurorIQ results as clinical, educational, or occupational credentials; or reproduce test content in a way that compromises its usefulness for other visitors. We may restrict access where these terms are violated.
Intellectual property
All assessment items, scoring models, archetype descriptions, visual designs, and written guides on AurorIQ are the intellectual property of AurorIQ unless otherwise noted. You may share links to any page and quote brief excerpts of our guides with attribution. You may not republish assessment items, resell access to any instrument, or present our content as your own. The AurorIQ name and aurora mark may not be used in a way that implies endorsement.
No warranties
AurorIQ is provided "as is" and "as available." While the instruments are built on published psychometric methods and we work to keep the service accurate and reliable, we make no warranty that results are error-free, that the service will be uninterrupted, or that any estimate reflects a clinically measured ability. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the service is to stop using it.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AurorIQ and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the service, including decisions made in reliance on any score, percentile, archetype, or guide. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to use the service, which is zero.
Changes to the service and these terms
We may add, change, or retire instruments and features at any time, and may update these terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of AurorIQ after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
