Are you actually ready?
Not a personality test — a practical readiness check for an interview you actually have coming up. Twenty statements across five factors, scored honestly, with the one change likely to help most.
Rate how much you agree with each statement about your preparation for an upcoming interview, from 1 (strongly disagree) to 5 (strongly agree). Answer for how things really stand right now, not how you'd like them to be. Nothing is saved or sent anywhere.
Your interview readiness
Your highest-leverage fixes
A preparation check, not a verdict. This scores how ready you are, not your worth as a candidate or your odds of getting the job — outcomes depend on fit and competition too, which are outside your control. What's inside your control is preparation, and that's exactly what this measures.
About this instrument
What this measures — and what it doesn't
-
Measures
Practical preparation
How ready you are for a specific interview across five factors: research, stories, questions, logistics, and rehearsal. Not a trait, type, or aptitude — a checklist of what's within your control.
-
Method
20 statements, weighted
Four statements per factor, half describing readiness and half describing a gap, reverse-scored so agreeing with either direction is scored correctly.
-
Result
A score plus your top fixes
An overall readiness score, a breakdown by factor, and your two lowest-scoring factors with a concrete fix for each — the two changes most likely to matter before your interview.
-
Limits
Honest limits
This measures preparation, not talent or fit, and can't predict an outcome that also depends on the employer, the competition, and factors outside your control. It's a mirror on readiness, not a forecast.
Questions
Before you begin
Is this a personality test?
No, deliberately not. This checks how prepared you are for a specific upcoming interview — your research, stories, questions, logistics, and rehearsal — not a trait or type about who you are. Preparation is something you can change this week, which is exactly the point.
Will a high score guarantee I get the job?
No. A high score means you're well prepared, which meaningfully improves how you'll perform — but outcomes also depend on fit, competition, and factors entirely outside your control. Treat this as removing avoidable weaknesses, not as a prediction of the result.
What are the five factors it checks?
Research (do you understand the role and company), Stories (do you have concrete examples ready), Questions (do you have real questions for them), Logistics (is the practical setup handled), and Rehearsal (have you practiced out loud). Each is scored from twenty statements, four per factor.
Is my data saved anywhere?
No. The entire check runs in your browser. Your answers never leave your device and nothing is stored or sent to a server. Refreshing the page clears everything.
